Little Tikes Seek & Explore Expedition Climber

Little Tikes Seek & Explore Expedition Climber

Little Tikes Seek & Explore Expedition ClimberKids imaginations run wild on the Seek & Explore Climber. This multi-level climber allows kid to improve climbing skills, exercise, and enjoy the outdoors. The Seek & Explore Expedition Climber comes with two platforms, ladder, plank, and slide. It’s ancient castle style encourages imaginative play.

This was purchased as a birthday gift for our one year old son. We wanted something that he could use for more than a year or two, and this definitely fits the bill! He’s a bit too small for it now, but does love going down the slide with assistance.

As far as assembly, I was very impressed by how easy it was. It took us right at 45 minutes to finish it, but that also included many breaks so my husband could chase our son around the yard! The one thing that threw me off was that there are not holes for the screws, just indents, so just know you have to screw through these to assemble it. The directions were fairly clear, but could be a little better. The parts all fit together absolutely perfectly, and we had no problems figuring it out.

I love that this has two different levels and there different ways to climb up (the plank, climbing from the lower level, and vertical stairs). The slide is just a little longer than most, which will last him longer, but it does come to a rather abrupt stop at the end. Once he gets used to it, that will be fine. The ropes going up the plank are not quite as taught as I would like, but that is easily rectified by adding another knot on the end.

I also like that the colors are muted, so it blends into our yard rather than sticking out light a bright, sore thumb like many outdoor play items do.

Overall, we are absolutely thrilled with this!

Little Tikes Cambridge Cottage

Little Tikes Cambridge Cottage

Little Tikes Cambridge CottageAs spacious as it is stylish, the Cambridge Cottage has a stunning brick design, columns, and dutch door. The interior of this playhouse features a fireplace, kitchenette, seating area, phone, and even a trap door. The realistic design and styling, both inside and out, is ideal for hours of imaginative play.

Got this for my 20mth old for Christmas. I set it up by myself in under an hour! super easy! Its tall and pretty spacious (for toddlers of course). I can see her being about to play with this till she is five. Its a great size. So easy to put together, my daughter was “helping” me as I put it together. The only problem I had was that there weren’t holes in the roof the put the screws in. So I’ll have to drill some or my boyfriend will :) Its not very colorful….so the artist in me might paint some of the indoor things. She’s only had it up for two days but played with it both days… So we’ll see how much she likes it!

Little Tikes Inflatable Playhouse

Little Tikes Inflatable Playhouse

This charming Victorian-styled house comes with a working inflatable door and secret door built into the fireplace, a crawl-through dog house and entryway with columns. Comes with pretend phone. Puncture resistant material, heavy-duty blower provides continuous airflow. House inflates in under a minute. Includes heavy-duty blower, stakes and repair kit. Safe for both indoor and outdoor use. Measures 88″L x 84″W x 78″H.

My girls (ages 2 and 4) love their house. It’s a nice addition to the backyard playground of swingset and kiddie pool. It’s enormous compared to the hard plastic playhouses (not to mention way cheaper) and I can actually stand up inside it and have a few inches to spare (I’m 5′4″). Even my dogs get a kick out of going in and out of the house. We’re looking forward to taking it camping with us next. On rainy days, we can even squeeze it into our living room for something different to do inside, though unless you have a pretty large open area inside, you probably couldn’t leave it up (ours takes up the entire living room with furniture moved out of the way). In sum: my girls wanted a playhouse but we didn’t have a lot of money to spend on one. This one fit our budget and turned out to be really versatile and fun.

Little Tikes Picnic on the Patio Playhouse

Little Tikes Picnic on the Patio Playhouse

Creative chefs use the window in the playhouse to pass meals from the kitchen to guests at the patio table. Playhouse has a kitchenette with pretend burners, oven cupboards and fireplace, as well as a working door, mail slot and picture windows. Includes play food, tableware and pretend phone. Electronic doorbell makes six fun sounds. Requires 3 “AAA” batteries, not included. Measures 37″H x 73.25″W x 47.5″D.

My mom got this for my daugther’s 1 year birthday. She is a little young yet to understand the whole imgainary play idea, but she still loves this house! She thinks the door bell is the coolest thing ever and pushes it over and over to hear the I think 6 different noises it makes. The door is easy for her to open and close and she likes to play with the phone. The stove is very small but it is perfect for pretend play. It is roomier than I thought it would be. This is the first playhouse I have experience with but I think it is wonderful! My daughter is 30 inches tall and you can see from the pictures I added that she still has plenty of room to grow. I am 5′9″ and can comfortably sit in it on my knees with plenty of head room. I am thinking of getting my husband to build a little set of shelves to put under the stove and put a floor of some kind in it. I think all of these little houses are really expensive but they are adorable and will last for many years, they are really really durable! Really easy to put together too, make sure you use a power screw driver though:) I would say it might have taken 30 minutes to do it myself and that was while watching a 1 year old run around outside too. You can put it all together with no screws at all and it is decently sturdy.

Little Tikes Climb and Slide Castle

Little Tikes Climb and Slide Castle

Little Tikes Climb & Slide Castle Motor skills and creativity skyrocket when children are allowed to engage in imaginative physical activity. Play houses are great for stimulating these skills in your child. The Climb & Slide Castle from Little Tikes will give your toddler plenty of opportunity for adventurous play. The Climb n SlideTM Castle includes a cool hideout and crawl tunnel and rock wall that poses a gentle challenge. The slide and working steering wheel will help develo

The child this Little Tikes Castle was bought for just loves it! He is just over a year and absolutely loves the spinning captain wheel. The cut-outs underneath also provide shelter and a fun to hide from people space. It seems to be pretty sturdy, although when shaken it does have a little bit of a give. The slide is somewhat precariously slanted, and fast, but as long as an adult is supervising the little one and there is a safe place to land after going down, there shouldn’t be any cause for concern. If placed on an appropriate playground material base, this little gem should provide plenty of fun for young toddlers to explore.
One small gripe I have is wishing the upper “plank” base had another 6″ of walk on space. It gets a little bit squishy with 2 toddlers vying for a spot. But there is no doubt the kids will enjoy this little place they can “explore” on and around.

Little Tikes Endless Adventures EasyStore Sand & Water Table

Author: admin

Little Tikes Endless Adventures EasyStore Sand & Water Table

This unique play table gives little ones hours of unique play possibilities. With a sand and water section, it lets a whole group of kids explore without having to actually sit in a messy sandbox or kiddie pool.

Features:

  • Three garden tools and two sand molds
  • Large sand area and a water area with a molded-in roadway, a bridge and a gate that creates an “inner harbor”
  • Attached storage bag for toys and an umbrella holder
  • Two hand cranks that let children create currents to sail two boats (included) around the table and in and out of the harbor
  • Easy to drain water and store the toys inside
  • Foldable table design that provides a smooth-surfaced play table with built-in cup holders
  • Holds up to 50 pounds of sand (not included)

We love this table.
Both kids have had a ton of fun with it and not wanted to come inside when they are playing. I’m so sad to hear the poor reviews, I totally disagree.
We’ve had it 3 years and it hasn’t faded.

All the legs on ours work fine without any screws. They fit in and come out with ease and stay in within table mode. The water plug doesn’t leak and we found it easy to keep all the parts with the handy mesh bag that hangs on the side of the table.

Regarding, rain getting in the table… duhhh It’s not a Sand, Water and Rain table. Why would you have your kids playing with it in the rain? (I’m being silly here.) It collapse and stores the legs and toys inside for the reason that you can easily store it in the rainy season. We’re in CA in a part where it doesn’t rain a ton. We stored it 1 winter but the other 2 we left it out. Sometimes we left it open and rain did get in it but it dried out as soon as the sun came out. The way it works with the water side on top is great. You drain the water and fold over the top.

I don’t see how someone could say this isn’t educational at all. I mean even if you don’t like the table it has nothing to do with the educational aspects. They are learning cause and effect, about different textures, scientific properties of water and sand and how they interact as well as engineering skills in building things in the sand. This table clearly allows children to learn all of that in a very fun way.

It’s sad that people are so narrow minded that they would say this toy somehow didn’t allow any learning… they clearly aren’t very intelligent themselves or are letting their views cloud their judgement.
